  • OT?: (V8) Nitrous Comments?

    I recently removed my 2.8L V6 from my 1988 Camaro, and installed a 350 5.7L V8.

Although it has a significant amount of HP, I'm contemplating the implementation of a N20 system.

I'm thinking something small, ie, a 60/75 shot of Nitrous. I'm assuming that a Dry shot would be best, although I'm still undecided.

Does anyone have any experience, or comments on the situation? Reccomendations? Thanks.

    What?

need more info on your set up there guy..
look thru summitracing.com... type "nitrous" in the search box area ...
there is virtually everything u will need for almost any application.weather its fuel injection throttle body and carburated...
also i suggest a 100 shot at the least on a v8 carburated motor...

          I'm sorry... I can't believe that I forgot. ;)

          I believe it's the L98, it's TPI.
          What?

            You believe L 98?
            That's the 305 right or 350?
            Make sure first.
If it is they make nice throttle body spacer's/ nozzle set ups.
Any of the companies will have some kind of sprayer bar.

Just remove the tb, put the spacer in which has a nice sprayer nozzle built right in, hook up a nitrous and a fuel line and you are ready to rock!!!!
Wish I could have a nice and neat spacer set up :(

              I'm fairly sure it's the L98, it's what I payed for and installed. ;)

              It's the 350, not the 305 5.0L V8.

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.
