as everyone probably knows i screwed up my car by testing the nitrous setup with the car not running and it messed up my vacuum crap. well my dad went to the local chevy dealer and they said that it was a bad fuel pressure regulator. some how we blew it up or something. so hopefuly it will run now.
I just need to ask one thing.
can you guys give me a small discription of your vacuum line setup with a 5175 kit on a 3.8L.
I hooked my nitrous up about the same time that you did. I converted mine to a wet setup, but I didn't know that the vacuum thing was only for the dry setups, so I did that too. It must have worked too, because my 75 shot felt like a strong tail wind. Heres how I did mine.
Your 5175 kit should have come with a T for the vacuum line, and another fitting for a jet. Now, if you reach to the back of the FPR, there's a vacuum line plugged right into there. I took that line out, and hooked it to the side of the T with the jet (the bottom of the T). The other two ends went to the nitrous pressure regulator (the blue thing) and the back of the FPR where the other vacuum line came out of. I'll have some pictures developed today.

cool, thats how i had it set up but every time i tried to shoot the line would come off of the FPR.I have a better clamps now. do you think my FPR screwed up because I tested it with the engine not running and all the press. was on the FPR? I donno, I just hope a new FPR will make my car run again so I can just feel one shot. all i want is one shot! well maybe not just one. ;)
Hehe... I got to feel 3 of my "tailwind" shots before my tranny decided to call it quits. Hopefully my new tranny will arrive this week though.

On the drivers side fender there is a thick black plastic loom covered bunch of lines. It is labeled fuel.
There are 3 lines in there, 2 for fuel and 1 for vaccum.
I just put the t fitting in there and ran a vaccum line to my blue vaccum thing on the nitrous solenoid set up
