• NX Dry Kit?

Does it exist? I hear alot about the wet kits, but didn't know if a dry kit was available by nx. If a dry kit is available, where can I buy one for a decent price?

As far as I know the Nitrous Express kit is a wet kit (also sold by RKSport). Personaly I would stay away from it and run an 85-95 dry to be safe. The intake bakfire isnt a big deal but a signifigant dent in your bank account  . An 85 dry is plenty of boost for me, I feel taking the extra risk on a daily driven car for an extra 20 shot is stupid. Unless your going for a shot greater than 100; then go with the wet. JEGS sells bolth Wet and Dry kits or you can order direct from NOS. the NOS dry kit is #5175. Good Luck :D

I do not have a kit yet, but from my research, wet kits are more safer so i agree w/ tim haynes.

Go ahead and ask 12secv6! Like I said in the post; If you plan on running less than 100 shot the dry is safer (no backfire). but if your runing more than 100 use a wet kit (even distribution). simple, but by the time your running more than 100 shot your rolling the dice with your car anyways.

I wanted no more than a 85 shot. That's why I asked if NX made a dry kit. I heard our maf and manifolds arent made to take wet kits.

my wet kit seems to be working just fine. I am using a NX wet kit 75 shot. Been through 1.5 bottles with no problems.

wet kit is still safer, and the backfire problem can be fixed if you take proper precautions by installing a window switch

Do you specifically want a dry kit?
NOS kit 5175 worked wonders for me
No problems what so ever!!!!
A computer not programmed for bigger injectors were.
Tim, care to explain yourself?
I'm always open to opinions.
My dry kit took me from
179.2 rwhp and 205.6 rwtq
291.0 rwhp and 362.5 rwtq
I had no complaints and I got into the 12's w/ it.
Wet kits provide a perfect explosive atmosphere in the intake manifold, does a sry kit do that, no.
Wet kits seem to hit harder and make more tq.
Dry kits are easier
Wet kits on our cars need to be drilled and tapped into the throttle body.
Dry kits can just have the nozzle shoved into the rubber elbow on the intake

Which is safer, the dry or wet kit? Some say dry, some say wet. It's confusing..I hear dry kits are safer for our cars, but the wet kit is more effective. I wanna stick with the safest route possible before making the big leap.
