I asked in here before and was recommended the NOS 5175 kit. I had a few questions about it. First, whats the cheapest place to get on? Second, what else will I need to buy to make it as safe as possible (prices if you can too) and perform its best. Third, what does everyone think will be the biggest shot I can run without screwing the car up. I just want to be able to beat slightly modded newer GTs. Thanks in advance.

best system is a wet kit
NX is the best i think
NOS is good i got a wet NOS kit (not hooked up :( ) but
dry i would say 85 shot wet you should be ok up to about 100 from what i know
saftey stuff:
fuel pressure saftey switch is a must
colder plugs
really all that is needed
info to know:
make sure if you get a wet to mount behind the maft on the TB not good to spray gas into the maft
with a dry kit it is fine all i can think of so any ??'s just ask1998 Jet Black Trans-am M6 T-tops
\"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find: knock and it shall be opened unto you:-Matthew 7:7
Old car
http://matthew27529.tripod.com/getsome
NEW CAR
http://garnerebel.tripod.com/

I got my nos kit 5175 from summit racing 1-800-230-3030 for mid $500's
Safety extra's:
FPSS
WOT
RPM window switch
Button activationngk tr6's gapped at 0.035
Biggest shot?
I ran a 120 dry shot with various fuel upgrades:
Kenne bell boost a pump at 50%
AFPR
Modified computer
Your coworker, loves Zex huh? What does he drive?
Best kit in my opinion:
TNT WET
NOS 5175 DRY

Haha see here's the thing, he doesn't and never has used nitrous. Thats why I don't think its the greatest idea. But others have said it was good too, but on the board everyone says its like the fisher-price kit, so I trust you guys more.
Do you guys think I should go wet or dry? I was told dry earlier, but which is safer.. thats the key to me. I am not looking to blow the doors of anything. Just run a 13.5 or so.
BTW, 12sec you cracked me up with that picture on the main page with a grin on your face and a nitrous bottle nearby. Don't know why, it's just funny.
[EDIT] southern94, is there any specific reason you are rebuilding you 3.4?? just checking! ;)

Yup made for the 3.4 v6 f body specifically.
I think dry would be better for what you want. 85 shot with a couple of intake/exhaust mods will get you in the 13's no prob
I thought about taking out the 2nd bottle too, hell the third one was left at home :DRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

I just had the Zex kit installed and I think it's pretty sweet! I don't have alot of experiance with nitrous, but the Zex worked perfectly the first time it was installed and it does what it's supposed to. The instructions had to be a little modified, but its an easy install. Nitrous is sweet, I've wanted it for a while and the shop I go to finally hooked me up with a good deal. The setup I have is pretty basic, just the dry kit, a purge kit, and a NOS guage. Total install time for 2 people who had never even seen a nitrous kit in real life was about 4 hours. And like I said it all worked the first time around, so it's pretty easy.1998 3.8 M5
246.4 rwhp unknown torque
2000 Z28 M6
393.7 rwhp 380.6 rwtq

Yeah I heard it was easy to work with but it is basic and hard to customize or something...
Hey I was reading shanes nitrous problems, and I was wondering. My car runs fine. Little rough idle from removing the MAF screen, but never a miss or anything. The oil pan leaks very slightly, but never enough to even add any oil, but otherwise its perfect. New battery, and new alternator. I would change the fuel pump to a better one and put in some NGKs, should I put the MAF screen back in? Remove the IAT mod? Pretty safe then???

Remove the iat sensor mod immediately.
It advances the timing slightly and may cause some problems with nitorus use.
Advanced timing and nitrous hate each other.
ngk tr6's gapped at 0.035 only
I'm still running stock fuel pump, upgrading is safer though.
I plan on doing the same as magnus for fuel pump's
As for the maf screen, I could not juice w/ it removed.

12second, you say you couldn't spray with the MAF screen out, why is that? I have mine out and it's working. Did it not reach it's full potenial or what?1998 3.8 M5
246.4 rwhp unknown torque
2000 Z28 M6
393.7 rwhp 380.6 rwtq
