If I decide not to get a remote bottle opener, how long can I leave the bottle open driving around? Anotherwords...can I open the bottle...start the car, drive around for an hour or two...come back home...turn the car off and close the bottle up.

I would think that would be ok. Thats what i do. Just dont forget and leave it open overnight or someting like that. You should be fine. Remote bottle openers are a pain in the a$$ and cost too much money.

Thats fine. If you leave it open for a long time it will slowly leak out just because not all the seals will be perfect. Also, you would be straining the connections and lines. But I always opened it for a couple hours and then closed it at the end of the night with no problems.

I've left it open overnight before.
I've left it on for 3-5 hour drives.
Sure you can leave it open for a couple of hours
