Alright. I'm using a 46/26(nitrous/fuel..or maybe a 28.. can't remember) for my 75 shot. If I was to run a 100 shot, what should I use? Jet sizes is the one thing about nitrous that just totally baffles me. I knew to use my current configuration only because someone told me. Where/how can I learn what to use? I don't even know where to begin.

Are you sure about that? I've heard that NX sizes are different.-Travis
99 Trans Am, Pewter, A4 Forged, stalled, and cammed
85 Buick Regal WH1 T-Type It\'d be cool if it ran...
94 Camaro 3.4, Teal, M5 The daily beater

I called NX tech and got these answers(read post)
http://www.camarov6.com/ubb/ultimate...c&f=3&t=000657
I called again and got different for the 75 shot. 41/24 which is what I am currently using and it works great.

I have a NOS 5175 kit converted to wet. I called NOS tech today and the moron told me to use 46/30 for a 100 shot... I'm using 46/26 for my 75 shot..-Travis
99 Trans Am, Pewter, A4 Forged, stalled, and cammed
85 Buick Regal WH1 T-Type It\'d be cool if it ran...
94 Camaro 3.4, Teal, M5 The daily beater

OK so we know the brand, nos kit
This has been a problem I have experienced.
I call the nos tech line and ask about jet sizes and hp ratings.
I have called and each time one tech tells me one hp level and another call they will tell me another level.
I was once told that the 120 hp jets I was running are actually 150 hp
I then informed them that I dynoed 111 hp more with the 120 shot.
They are useless.
63 is a 120 shot
I don't remeber the 85 hp shot, 100 shot I never tried.
Someone needs to dyno it to get a definate answerRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

Yeah, I think you are correct.
47 is nitrous 85 hp rating on a nos kit 5175.

James are these jets interchangable through NOS? I actually lost my .047 jet and my friend had one that came with his Nos kit for his cobra can I just use his or do I hafta buy another jet? also there is a jet that goes into the t-fitting its called a "flair jet" is that just the spare jet that came with the kit? it said like 28 or something on it..1998 Chameleon Green Firebird Auto.
Whisper Lid, RK sport Muffler system. Yes the jets are interchangeable, as long as they are the same size. Any .047 jet has the same size hole at the tip. The jet in your t-fitting needs to stay there. I'm not entirely sure what that one does, since I never used that section of the kit because I converted mine to wet.-Travis
99 Trans Am, Pewter, A4 Forged, stalled, and cammed
85 Buick Regal WH1 T-Type It\'d be cool if it ran...
94 Camaro 3.4, Teal, M5 The daily beater

The jet in the t is for vaccum or is known as a 'fuel' jet on a dry kit. It is not like a fuel jet on a wet kit. That jet alloys the fuel psi to raise to the appropriate levelRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
