I'm finally going to finalize everything and hook my Nitrous up...

I needed two pieces to hook up the FPSS... Since no one was able to give part numbers, I finally decided to call Summit, and talk to them... They unfortunately were not able to get the right connector... So I'm getting 2 to do the Job of one.

    NOS-16781 (felmale 1/8" to male 4an) and
AER-FCM2914 (female 4an to female 4an) will do it...

I also got a roll of Teflon tape, and the right Blow off adapter for my blow down tube.. Also a Nitrous Pressure guage.. So Monday everything should be here.. and then to just get the bottle filled, and play around :D I hope I don't blow anything up  ....

What do you guys feel about the WOT switch along with an inline push button activator as an added precaution?? Do I need that??

use the WOT switch. Its just another security switch to save your *** . Also, you wont need that teflon tape. Most of the fittings are pressurized fittings and you are not supposed to use tape on a pressurized fitting. Remember this.

The tapered AN fittings don't use teflon.

The pipe fittings do need teflon. But not tape. Find some teflon paste instead... A little piece of the tape supposedly can break off and clog a jet or get in a solenoid and hold it open. Not something I would want to take a chance on.

Yes teflon tape will not hold up due to extreme temp.
            Teflon paste is needed!!
The more safety precautions the smarter the nitrous user.
            Best of luck.
            You changed plugs right?
First bottle won't feel that fast.
            It cleans out the engine.
You will see a lot of black smoke the first 2-3 sprays, don't worry, it is excess carbon build up

              Thanks,

I plan on using the WOT switch and a push button switch on a seperate circuit. That way the push button will always be hot and I can spray at any time. I think I'm smart enough to know if I'm at wot or not but still want to be able to just flip the arm switch and go. Just a thought if your still interested in a push button. Just make sure you run it through your FPSS also.

Will it hurt anything to have teflon paste on the flared fittings? I put it on most everything just to be sure.

The AN fittings, with the flares, seal much like any flare fitting (brake lines, fuel lines, etc.) by the flare pressing into a matching beveled fitting. Paste on the threads probably wouldn't hurt anything, but you might get a little dab on the sealing surface (the flare) which would probably keep it from fitting tight all the way around and could leak a little.
