I've got a brand new 5175 kit that I'm trying to sell,
and my uncle has a 96 Mustang 4.6 and wants it. How
hard would it be to adapt this kit to work on his?
The kit he wanted was the 5120, and on my instruction
manual, it has that number along with 5175 - so I'm thinking it might work. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.

It should work just fine. The only big difference between the 5175 and the mustang kit might be different length hoses. NOthing too big. It should work ok. Most nitrous kits are universal and have the same parts for every application.

All nitrous kits are interchangable.
Solenoids are universal
Braided lines are universal
Nozzles are universal
Call nos just to confirm.
