  • jet location?

    hi i just got my kit and its a NOS powershot dry kit. Where should i put the jet? i did do a search and i didnt really get too straight of awnser for dry.

    Dry kits want to have the nozzles mounted as far away from the throttle body as possible to utilize the cooling effect to it's maximum.

        do you thin kmaybe i should put it in the rubber between my whisper lid and tb?

          um yes put it about 4 inches away from the tb on the intake tubing

            Well, is it a dry kit?
            If yes put it as far away from the tb and maf

              a few guys have tapped the front of their whisper lids and put it there. that way, the incoming air is very cool when it hits the maf, giving you even more hp/tq because of increased timing and proper air mass measurement.

                Mounting it there really just supercools the entering air and also cools the surrounding parts of the engine.
                The last thing you want is timing advance.
                The nitrous kit alone should pretty much be at a stoich level. On the dry kit fuel psi would be raised to the appropriate level to keep the car between stoich and rich
