  • NX GM EFI WET KIT, JUST BOUGHT

I just bought a nx kit 20920. Its on the way in the mail now. Should be sweet I hope.
    It's going in my 1994 camaro 3.4L.

Anyways, heres the question, Where do most of you tap into the fuel line for you wet kit installs, do you cut the plastic line and throw a T fitting in, or do you cut the fuel rail metal line and use a compression fitting T? Lemme know how you do it, thanks.

I used the schrader valve on my kit. On mine it was on the passenger side, kind of on the top/side of the plenum(intake manifold)....took off the cap, and took out the valve core, then plugged the fuel line in.

I used the schreder valve also. Make sure you use the high pressure side because there are two of these valves. The valve is on the fuel rail on the passenger side.

        I have a 3.8

I also have the 3.8L. That was probably about the easiest part of the install, I had to use a pair of tweezers to pull the core out of the valve. The snap-on valve stem puller I bought wouldn't get the job done

sounds easy enough for me, did the fitting to screw onto the schrader valve come with your kit?

yea, i see the cap dead center on the fuel rail closest to the front side of the intake. Is this the high pressure one? I believe it is, I dont see any other valves for a low pressure side.

car takes ac delco r43tsk stock, I work at advance auto and saw no listing for an r42tsk. So for now the plugs are the stock heat range. I know its recommended to run 1 range colder. What I plan to do I run an LCD voltmeters of the two O2 sensors and constantly monitor them after the install. Hopefully this will help me safeguard the motor.

Me too! But, I believe the NGK TR6's will work for you also (others might confirm this to be true or not please), and the part number you use to order them is 4177. Hope that helps.

                        Don't use stock plugs
                        find 1-2 ranges colder
