I have a custom intake I set up and I might be able to get some pics if its needed but here is the deal, its a bent throttle body (no lid) so I have a 90 degree turn right off the bat made from pvc. Then I have a 3 inch rubber tube that connects to a 3 inch metal tube right after the radiator/brake line mess. Now my question is, will the n2o freeze the rubber or plastic and crack it? or will it be ok. I assume it will be ok because the stock intake was rubber and plastic. Next, do I want the IAT sensor before or after the jet? I am thinking about tappinng into the metal tube right by the right hand edge of the radiator for the n20 jet. Any suggestions? If you need pictures I will post some tomorrow morning.

I'm assuming your running a dry kit. You want the jet as far away as you can get it so it can spread out more and cool better. I don't think it'll freeze the rubber or plastic because like you said stock pieces don't freeze. I've heard suggestions of both putting the nozzle before and after the AIT. Most put it after but if you put it before it might tell the computer that incoming air is colder and get it to run a touch richer. I'm not sure if anyone has done this so I don't know if the AIT can take that kind of temp.1998 Red RS 3.8l A4
Whisper - K&N - N20 - 1LE Panhard - Ghetto STB - 255/50ZR16 Ecsta
Removed grille - Limo tint - blackouts - A-pillar cf a/f ratio
Panasonic DF88 - 1 12\" Eclipse 88120.4 - Eclipse 3322 amp
http://members.cardomain.com/raven_rs

If I put the jet before the sensor, won't it freeze the sensor, and be just like the IAT Mod? Say I had a stock intake, should I just put the IAT in the stock location and put the jet say right by that crimped up peice of plastic that goes between the radiator and brake mess? It seems that the frozen sensor could go kaboom, but then again, putting in cold air when its not expected could suck to...1997 Chevrolet Camaro v6 - 13.8@104MPH

If you have a dry kit mount the nozzle as far away from the throttle body.
Have it go nozzle, then iat, then tb
If it is wet then iat, then nozzle and tb.
So is yours dry or wet?Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

Hey, you are good.
Yes, nitrous nozzle in that blue thing so you utilize the most of the cooling effect. It will also hit softer which will make traction a bit better.
As for IAT, that should actually be in that bend just in front of the TB, I don't think it will reach the rubber elbow unless you make the wires for the IAT sensor longer.
As for timing advance, don't worry about extreme cold tempsRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

Cool, actually I already put it right in the elbow. Cause i found that it wouldn't reach like you said. Jet is in, I will post pics later if anyone wants to see them. The kit is mostly installed except the missing part from the other post. Can't wait to spray it!!!!1997 Chevrolet Camaro v6 - 13.8@104MPH
