If your car is your only means of transportation don't put nitrous on it. Especially if it's going to be how you make your money. There is always a chance no matter what of grenading your engine. Although There are very few from this board that I know of that have had major problems from nitrous, it is still a possibility. I don't know for sure but I think it's an old wives tale that your engine will never be the same from nitrous. At least any more than another major power adder. You will get more engine wear but what do you expect when your adding half the hp you already have. So unless you have another car you can drive to deliver pizza I would recommend not using nitrous.

        That is not true.
Technically a nitroused car has the cleanest engine.
If you opened up a nitroused engine it would seem exceptionally clean.
Nitrous acts like a detergent and completely cleans all the carbon build up inside the engine.
If this is your ride for your job then you might not want to juice it then.
Problems with juicing: mainly running lean and then major problems can occur after that.

I'm not a big fan of nitrous on daily drivers, but if you use all of the safeguards, I don't think that it's any worse than a supercharger.

            I myself am considering a supercharger. :D

Edit 04/28/03: Nitrous is now installed on my daily driver.

I just juiced my daily driver and it worked like a charm. My car actually runs smoother than it did before (Idles Nicer I think it just needed to be wound up tight) but if you have any major problems it will most certainly make them worse!! Make sure your car runs good. Like if your the type to miss an oil change sometimes, don't juice it. Basically if you car runs like crap and your trying to take a shortcut to speed by using the nitrous, your going to screw something up. It took me much more than the 4 Hours the kit said it would to get my whole car ready for n2o, make sure you have the time and patience to do it all (plugs/wires etc.) and do it right. Then you should be ok.

i have nitrous on my daily driver ....
its been on my car for almost 2 years..
if your scared then say your scared. :D ..

only suggestions i have is dont run over a
                100 shot ..
and dont run nitrous on a car that isnt running
                perfectly..
