Ok I have the kit all wired in and everything. Before I went to spray it, I wanted to test it, so I basically just used it with the bottle closed. I am not sure If the fuel pressure bumped up at all, I felt no slowing or backfires or anything, How can I tell if it bumps the fuel pressure like it should? I parked the car and at idle I manually flipped the WOT switch, and no difference at all. How can I tell if I am running rich or not? I can hear the soleniod opening for sure. Please help ASAP!!

Dry kit I assume? You could remove the jet from your intake, so it doesn't spray into the engine while in park. If you have a window switch, you'll have to rev to wherever the "start" point is. If you have WOT switch, you may want to push it by hand, so that you don't have to rev to redline without a load "in park".....Basically satisfy all the switches so the circuit is closed, and see if it sprays or not. Hope that helps.www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

you should have a fuel pressure saftey switch anyways that way if your fuel pressure does not go up by means of the vacum line then the saftey switch will not allow the nitrous selenoid to open as far as testing i am not sure if what your saying will work do you have a fuel pressure gauge? if you do just disconnect the line from the intake tube hit the wot switch let the nitrous spray out side the engine bay and monitor the fuelpressure gauge if you don't have a gauge not sure that you can tell if it's working but you should have a fpss

It wouldn't raise the fuel pressure with the bottle closed, you need the pressure going throught the nitrous regulator to tell it to increase.
One thing I'm still wondering is how to tell where your FPSS is set. Does it come set from the factory at an acceptable level and are they reliable? I can't figure out any way other than a fuel pressure gauge to check this.1998 Red RS 3.8l A4
Whisper - K&N - N20 - 1LE Panhard - Ghetto STB - 255/50ZR16 Ecsta
Removed grille - Limo tint - blackouts - A-pillar cf a/f ratio
Panasonic DF88 - 1 12\" Eclipse 88120.4 - Eclipse 3322 amp
http://members.cardomain.com/raven_rs

Without a gauge (fuel pressure or air/fuel) I don't think you can tell by hitting the switch.
You would need to have the bottle valve open for testing.
If you have an air/fuel ratio gauge, you could disconnect the 2nd solenoid wiring, and hit the wot switch, which should let the nitrous flow only through the 1st solenoid and hit the fpr, and you should see a bump in the a/f ratio. Or you could leave the 2nd solenoid hooked up, and just unhook the jet from the intake and let the nitrous spray into the air, and look for the bump.
Same thing with a fuel pressure gauge, just look at the pressure instead of the a/f ratio.
The fpss should shut down the nitrous also, if you fall below a certain pressure, but I don't know what that pressure is. Your car probably holds 40-44psi at idle. If the fpss is set for 30, it won't cut off, even if your enrichment fails. If the fpss is set for 50+, then it would cut off. But I don't know the cutoff, so who knows what you would be testing, if anything, by watching the fpss only.\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next
v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock
v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp
Moderator on www.mtfba.org and www.frrax.com (Road Race & Autocross)
Car pics, TN Region SCCA

Testing the system:
Well, first time you hit the button you should have the nozzle unhooked, from the place where it would shoot nitrous into the engine, and blow out any crap that could be in the braided line.
Now obviously to do this you would have to have the bottle open, ignition on to position 2, if you have a wide open throttle switch then push the micro switch to simulate wide open throttle, if you had a window switch then the car would have to be running and you rev it to the minimum rpm activation point, and if it has a button activation you would have to press it.
Basically you would have to meet all the safety precautions and activation methods you have on your car.
As for did the fuel psi jump up?
Well 2 ways, 1 is with a fuel psi guage, the needle goes up :D 2 is the nitrous flows, it causes the vaccum increase, fuel psi is raised and nitrous sprays out the nozzle, if the fpss is not met then nitrous will not flow because there is not enough fuel pressure. also sometimes you can feel a pulsing, this is a system that almost has enough fuel psi and the fpss is kicking on and off.
Rich or not:
Air/fuel ratio guage. This is what I've always used but can only be used at WOT
Hand held scanner to measure milli volts in o2 sensors
Wide band scan on a dyno run
simple stuff huh?
