• Update: Ka*****!

Just Kidding. Actually I went out to test it for the first time. Driving along in 3rd gear, my friend is behind me in his car. I hit WOT and 3,000 RPM and I was freakin GONE! It felt like I got rear-ended by a faster car and it pushed me right along. Whoever says you can't feel the 85 shot wasn't in my car! It hit the first time too, no black smoke or anything. Anyways I get back to the house and my friend is like, "So how did it work" and all I said was, "Dude, just get in my f-ing car." Its truly amazing. Thanks to everyone for all the help getting me up and running. Going to the track tonight, will post tomorrow sometime with the results.

sorry, the K word brought back flash backs of my first engine and its connecting rod shattering into 1 million pieces. (hmmm, never edited someones post before, cool stuff huh?)

Well, your first time went better than mine... My first spray was abruptly interrupted by a loud "BANG!!" then "clank clank clank clank..." A week later I was putting in a new tranny. :D

I am waiting for my clutch to go out on me, but hey at least it was your tranny and not your motor eh? I don't expect too good of times cause I used about 4 lbs of nitrous "testing" the kit ! I am looking for at least a full second drop, that way I shouldn't be dissapointed.
BTW, MrCoffee. Yes, you don't want n2o! Everyone wants to go for a ride in my car now. I am going to charge $5 to pay for the juicy juice.

Track is cancelled an the account of rain. It rains Twice a year here and it has to be the time when I will be using the nitrous. Crap. Well, guess I had better use the rest of the nitrous so I can hit the track with a full bottle!

When? or Where?
Um, theres APEX (I Hate APEX its a Ricer Joint) and Don's Hot Rod Shop. There's another place that does it for a lot less than $30 though.

If you meant to say when then, well anytime during the day works just fine ;) .

Damn, never say the K word!!!
I almost might have to go into your post and remove it.
Nitrous owners are scared of that word!!!!

I'm really glad to hear that everything has gone well.
Keep the bottle filled.
4 lbs isn't enough for the track.
fill it up and go from there.
Make some n/a runs and then back them up with nitrous runs that way we have similar weather.

There must have been something wrong with the scale I used because I just made a full run in a race with a mustang and it hit just as hard all the way throught the race no surging as it did the first time i used it. (Check it out in kill stories section)

I definately plan on using a full bottle though no doubt. I hope to hit a VERY low 16-VERY high 15 N/A. But you never know, thats just my goal. What times do you expect I'll hit with the n2o? I hope 14's, but Im not sure. (Keep in mind things go slower at our track so a 14.4 is about LS1 time)

[EDIT] Wow I never realized you actually sensored the K-word. Im sorry man! I guess that might scare people off!

So about a second and a half off, thats 14s even on my crappy 16.4! I need some slicks so I can juice it in first!

12Second: Hey if your going to sensor my title, then what about this:
<blockquote>quote:</font><hr>"BANG!!" then "clank clank clank clank..." <hr></blockquote>
It sends shivers down my spine! :D hahaha.

EDIT - 12Sec could you list all of your mods, or email them to me. (Not your nitrous stuff, just like drivetrain, exhaust etc.) Also do you juice the whole run? Take me down the track with you!

Oh, I forgot to mention, I had also done headers and 3" inch exhaust too, in between the na and the 85 shot times. So that probably helped some. But I also left the stock plugs in there, with 77,000 miles on them, just regapped to 45. So I probably lost some there.

I just bought some ngk's, but they are sitting in the passenger seat, along with resized jets, and are waiting until the new fuel rail comes in since the original broke.

hey AZ, did you happen to be at the "illegals" a week or so ago? cuz i have a friend who was down there and she told me a white camaro with nitrous was there and was just raping other cars. So i thought it might be you.
peace
