    I accidentally put this in the forced induction forum 1st, but here it is...

    ok, if i build a 3.8L especially for nitrous. IM talkin nitrous style cam, forged pistions, custom forged crank and rods and all that good stuff like out good ole bit shot V8 runners... would it be beyond that engine to handle a 150 wet shot? or what about with just the forged pistons? should it be able to handle 150? anyone done this b4(totally rebuilt a 3.8 for racing??)

    Just a few ?'s that were buggin me...

    I think you would need to do all of the internals. Git a massive fuel pump and a hopped up ignition then you could handle more than 150. 12Secv6 was running a 120 shot on stock internals. I think the pistons yes, but probably the crank as well.
