    if any of you are high mileage cars with nitrous let me know of how high ya are just curious. incase i come across a deal for nitrous

    Ive got 65K, thats not really that high though. Plus we have two very different motors. I would be willing to say that a high mileage motor can take nitrous, IF it has been very well maintained and driven nicely. In the words of everyone on the board: Your car must run PERFECT!

        It all depends on how well maintained it was its entire life.
        80,000 miles on bottom end.
        5000 max on top end
        Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
        nitrous et & mph: 12.168 & 110.95 mph, n/a 13.746 & 96.38 mph
        2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8: 12.125, 116.45
        2010 Ford Taurus SHO: no times yet

              Oh I thought he was saying thats the most miles he would allow and still be on juice for the top end. I was worried!

                    71000 on motor, about 10k on tranny, 30k or so on my 3rd rear end...heehee

                      99k on motor (replaced at 75 with a junk yard jewel '98 3.8 with an honest 22k) 'bout 30k on my third tranny I am now working on my 2nd rearend it will be no more in about a month if I drive nice piece of **** 10 bolt.

                      And I am going to spray the living hell out of it

                        Haven't broke anything yet... (knock on wood). Thought I broke my clutch at the track the other day, but I was just spinning the tires in 3rd gear !
