I do not know any a4 people using a window switch. Typically we do not have a problem of over reving. Hopefully the topic (link) above will be answered.
I have a push button.
I stall it to 2800 rpm's at the line, floor it, then hit the button and hold on for dear life.

I'm getting a Mallory window switch with my kit. I'll let you know if that works out any better than the MSD does. It's running on an LS1, so I know the switch itself is good.
I spoke with MSD about their Window Switch. On our DIS cars (6 cylinder), you MUST send the switch to MSD for modification. They may charge you as much as $45 to do it, but when you get it back, you are good to go. Only advice I have if you are pushing a button to spray, don't try below 3000RPM's...Anything much lower can cause puddling of fuel in the intake (on a wet kit of course), and backfiring. Be careful.

Thanks for reminding me James! I updated my previous thread about the window switch.

Yes, as soon as I get a little money to spend, I will be getting it modified. You just have to send it to MSD in El Paso, Tx, so it won't take too long for me to get it back.

I have a manual and I found that a window switch is not needed. I my push button on the shift knob itself. Its really easy to use that way if you have any coordination. On an auto it will be even easier, but you probably can't mount it on the shift knob. On the steering wheel would be cool though...
