blew a disk

sucks man, the guy at the shop was pissed, he looked like he was going to quit that day!

anyways, i lost 24$ of nitrous that was already in the tank prior to filling.

I assume you mean the safety cap disc on the bottle blew? At least yours didn't go out like mine: I was driving my car at 50mph with the windows up when this happened to me.... scared the SH*T out of me! Bottle was only at 950psi too. :mad:

Anyway, did you get another disc for it, or a new cap? I couldn't find another disc for mine so I had to put the original cap back on.

Where did you get it? I still haven't replaced my safety blow off cap.

Racer Safety Blow Off Adapter
This is used to attach a blow down tube. The one that came on the bottle has no outside threads for a blow down tube.

I've never had a nitrous tank disc rupture but one of my c02 tanks did.
It happened in my room, shot the cylinder clear across the room and made a little dent in the wood trim :D
