This basically spraying super cooled nitrous oxide straight through the intercooler.
It makes more power by dropping air intake temperature, allowing denser air, more fuel yada yada yada yada.
    Cool stuff (no pun intended!!!)

umm isnt there a cheaper umm i sopose "fuel" to cool off intake air for a turbo or super? like how much does liquid nitrogen cost? i know its not alot cause i can buy the stuff here for pretty cheap... or why not just like use dry ice =D im sure it would work pretty well on that setup there i dunno how we would do it but i mean... i would find a cheaper way to do this ( aka not use nitrous and find something else )

dry ice is frozen co2 and that doesn't combust w/ fuel, and n2 doesn't combust that well either. pure o2 would be worth more power than either co2 or n2. The nitrous has more o2 in it per mole than normal air does, which is why u make as much power as u do, besides that intercooling effect. also, it's better to inject it after the standard intercooler so the intercooler pulls as much heat as possible and then the no2 pulls even more.

but man this never even makes it into the intake... its just being used as a extream coolant... if any thing i could maby see this being used as like a type of purge valve that way ure not just spraying it into the air then it would make alot of sence but like this it seems kinda waste full just to use a extra piece of equipment

For supercharged or turbo applications where nitrous is not an option, NX offers another alternative, the “N-tercooler”. Using either nitrous or CO2 this unit can reduce air inlet temperatures dramatically. In a recent dyno test, a turbocharged Honda, equipped with an NX “N-tercooler ”, increased its baseline by an astounding 52 horsepower! If it makes horsepower, it must be Nitrous Express!

You can use nitrous or c02

Yeah I remember when they were doing a contest to name that thing. It never goes IN the intake, just sprays on the intercooler to freeze it, so Its like having a really cool intercooler.
