Ok, I used to have the nos kit 5175 dry and I sprayed a 120 shot all the time.
I then upgraded to the tnt wet kit with a 100 shot.
I have always either run 93 octane or 94 and I love the NOS octane booster silver can with nitro methane.
I have always reccomended this but I will no longer reccomend it from now on.
I started having problems with my fuel solenoid on the tnt kit.
It would work, then not work, then kinda work and sputter, hence my 1.630 60 foot, 12.6 at 103 at the photo shoot for high performance pontiac.
I sent my solenoid to tnt a week ago and I just got off the phone with Tony.
Absolutely great service.
When I originally called him he went over all the possibilities and cost's to fix them accordingly.
He gave me the address and I sent it to him.
Well, I got off the phone with him just now.
He explained that the plunger inside the solenoid had swelled?!?!?!
Well, we spoke a while and he asked me a couple of questions.
What gas I was running, to which I told him either 93 or 94 octane.
What brand, Exxon, sunoco, mobil etc.
He then asked if I add any additives, I responded NOS octane booster, silver w/ nitromethane.
He told me right away that was the problem.
They have experienced swelling of plungers with this added, also NX octane booster.
Weird huh??
I will no longer suggest this and no longer use it.
NOS and NX octane booster.
He mentioned that it was the Beuna (sp??) in it that affects the plunger.
He then told me he could fix it today and send it out by then end of the day.
He also added that he would include the old plunger so I can see it.
He then appologized that he would have to charge me $25 to fix it?!?!?!
I'm like, are you serious???
$25 to fix my solenoid and flow test it :D
Much better than replacing it!!
I'm really happy with my experience with TNT customer service.
It should arrive by the end of the week.
