• Going to NOS, additional mods besides kit?

You can see the mods i have in the sig, I plan on getting that nx kit, i think its the one everyone likes isnt it? What else should I be worried about getting before the nitrous is installed. I plan om shooting 75 first, maybe 100 later if I can get over my fear. Also, the kits they sell, do they include everything you need? What entails a good kit? (sorry I know this is an annoying part of the post, but just curious)

"do a search"

POST WHORE!

Searches suck, takes to long to get a straight answer sometimes

You have more mods than I do and I'm sprayed. You have the amount of mods I wish I had to not feel guilty about having N20, a lid and K&N (free ram air too) just isn't enough to have nitrous in my eyes but oh well. Intake and exhaust are what really help nitrous and I think since you have the smaller exhaust it's better for n20

If we told everyone in here to do a search us post whores wouldn't have anything to do considering alot of the stuff has been covered in one way or another. And sometimes a post needs a little more than what has been covered before

Take out the air temp sensor. Put in NGK TR-6s gapped at .035 (Exactly what 12sec will say ;) ) Maybe good plug wires. 2.5 Mandrell bent exhaust with headers and hiflow cat should be more than enough exhaust for you. Be smart and don't cut corners, make the install immaculate and you should be ok.

did a search found allot of questions not relating what you actually need or what would be required. Allot of the nos lover posts but very little information. Ive heard that the zex kit sucks right? I should go with NX?

NX or TNT makes the s**t when it comes to wet kits.

I just went NOS because it was easy to do for a first timer. If you want NX is good and affordable.

Search is always a good thing.
Try it and just read up.
But, we shall continue because things are forgotten and then get added when we have posts like this.
When I sprayed I did a full tune up.
Dry kits I like NOS
Wet kits I like TNT and we have some others who like NX
My experience is NOS and TNT.
NX makes a good kit, shirl runs it on her blown n juiced ride.
It should come with the basic's
FPSS is a must!!!!
Blow down tube is a must.
Bottle warmer, blanket and purge are accessories to enhance the nitrous system.
Nitrous psi guage is a good thing to have, correct psi is important.
1 piece d/s if you start running drag radials.
I run stock ignition, ngk tr6 plugs gapped at 0.035 ( :D ) and accel extreme 9000 8 mm wires.
Dyno tuning w/ a wideband is a really important thing.
I started using my TNT wet kit with the advertised jets and I found that I needed the 150 hp fuel jet to compensate for my 100 nitrous jet.

Any questions?

Yah what are the benefits/weaknesses of dry vs wet. Better yet let me ask you which you prefer, which is safer, easier, cheaper?

Dry is just nitrous
Wet is nitrous and fuel
Which is safer, no kit
Our intake manifolds were never intended to have gasoline in them so dry is 'safer'
Easier, well probably dry because no fuel lines are used.
Cheaper, dunno, similar prices

Oh yeah, which do I prefer?
Well, I started w/ a dry kit and progressed to wet

I think you would be more likely to go lean with a dry kit lean is not good. Also a dry kit wears on your stock injectors and fuel pump.

You can go up to a 100 shot dry no problem... 12sec did a 120 shot dry and thats where the internals take a dump.... See his page for a pic if you want to see them. It is recommended that if you go for a big shot (say over 100) you go wet.
12Sec - THe 1LE driveshaft would work fine correct??

1 le should be fine
Also a dry kit wears on your stock injectors and fuel pump <--- statement is true but with a wet kit you tax the fuel pump to a similar level and also you are spraying fuel into an intake manifold never intended for fuel and puddling can occur and nice big explosion's :(
