  • First time at the track with N20

Well I went Saturday and hade a blast,I am very pleased.

My best run NA was 15.304 @89.29(New Best). :D
Ran a 50 shot 6 times I ran consistant 14.6's but I managed to pull a 14.324@96.78 thats almost a second gain!!!!

Then I changed to a 75 shot, with the auto slipping out shifts I ran consistant 14.2's and a best 14.174@98.04.

I think with a TransGo and tranny cooler I can pull high 13's easy with the 75 shot. :D

Can you post your 2 best timeslips? One on the 50 shot and one on the 75 shot? Maybe we can help you out some.

            See, nitrous rules!!!
            Congrats on the times.
If your tranny is slipping don't bother with the transgo.
            Time for a complete rebuild.
You might want to do this sometime over the winter depending on funds.
I remember when my tranny was slipping w/ nitrous and the launches were sooo easy but the top end was ok.
When the tranny was completely done it hit soo hard that traction was very difficult.

I would suggest a complete tranny rebuild, converter, tranny cooler, temp guage etc
            then spray again

              Thanks man.
So with a stall and a cooler I will be set? Even without the juice I have never been happy with the way the tranny has shifted.

Nope, might slightly slipped w/ the stock converter, when I added the pro yank it slipped sooo much more.
                Time for a rebuild.
When you do the rebuild add the verter, and shift kit.
Doing it half way would mean adding keflar bands, alto clutch packs etc. I did this the first time but only recently I had it build for a low 11second high 10 second car.

What is the cost of a total rebuild? James did you do yours yourself?
