• Forged Internals for the juice...

I plan on getting some forged internals this spring, and for nitrous, what all will I need to get forged... here is a list so far of forged/upgraded stuff.
1)L67 Crank
2)Pistons/Rings
3)Rods
4)Valvtrain
Anything else???
I am going High Comression Pistons (10.0 or 10.5:1) and a seperate tank for race gas for the n2o. (What are track rules on a small fuel cell anyhow?)
12sec - I think it was you who said to get the intakes ported and polished, but not the heads (or the other way around) for nitrous use with a wet kit? Elaborate a bit. Thanks In advance.

Crank, pistons, a better valve, I (and my shop) have not explored the valve train or cam issue yet.
We will be dropping my compression to 9.0 to 1 most likely.
Small fuel cell, actually you might want to place a call or e mail your local track for NHRA rules

Port the heads and intake (upper and lower). Have your shop take some serious time with them.
Mine spent forever on them and mine is doing quite well
Honestly until I officially have them start the build up we are getting into uncharted territory.
I have a plan in my head, the shop wants to go wilder.
We shall see what will happen
As I learn more I'll let you know

Sounds good. I already have my cam/valvetrain figured out, so that should be easy. Now, I just have to start with a spare engine. I will use my tax return for that and then come summer, I should be on my way!
12sec- When do you expect your block to be complete? Your car will be screaming fast on the 150+ shot! Can't wait to see that happen!

It will be done before then but that will be its first big race.
I'm guessing I'll drop it off some time in Feb I think
