  • mods required for 85 shot wet?

im planning on Not selling the bird and scince im not i might as well have as much fun with it as i can till in about 2-3 years i drop a v8 of some sort in it ( please no one tell me to just save up and just drop the 8 in now )

ok, i would need exaust check
    intake check
    WOT switch
    FPSS
fuel ( lean stoich and such ) guage
    arming switch
    headers
not all of that is absolutly required but i dont think i would do it with any less

as for further mods after 1-2 nights at the track

    port polish and angled heads
port polish intake upper and lower

for even better results maby a cam and rockers, yes rockers because they are lighter

eventualy maby even forge the internals and increase the shot

any help would be much apreciated, ive decided to keep the car and just keep modding it because you cant get nearly the money you payed for the car back when you resale it so i might as well drive it till the engine falls out

Trust me, you will never hear that from me :D

Well, the kit, fpss, plugs and dyno with wideband are the minimum

After that then warmer, purge, air/ fuel guage, fuel psi guage, fuel pump, bottle blanket, spare bottle etc

I really thing the warmer should be in the required but some people feel so.

After that intake and exhaust are primary things that make the nitrous system perform to it's fullest.
I think the ported heads n intake work very well.

As for rockers, I dunno, mine are stock

As for mods, good lord I have sooooo many.
        Too many to list.
Basically it is a stock engine with ported heads and upper n lower intake manifold.
Cold air intake, full exhaust, various suspension mods, weight redcution, superchips programmed puter, 323 gears t/a girdle and stud kit, skinnies, drag radials, slicks etc

        How much did it cost?
Well, I bought my nos kit from summit with bottle warmer, purge, blanket and that is it. So, whatever they charge is what I paid.
As for the tnt conversion kit: I called the tech line and told them I was switching over to a wet kit. They had a wet kit convsersion that could work with the nos kit. I paid $399 for the tnt wet conversion kit.
As for a part number, I don't have one. I called them, told them what I have and they gave me what I needed.
