  • Cant get my Nitrous to work?

SO today I install my new NGK TR6 plugs. I wanted to try the nitrous out. I just barely installed heads and cam and this will be my first time using the nitrous for about 6 months. I pulled the lines off my shark nozzle and pointed them into a bucket. Hit the arming switch and opend the WOT switch and nothing happend. I tried several times and cant seem to get either FUEL or N20 sylenoid to click open. How do I fix this? Its been wired the same for about a year. I havent used it for a while but I didnt change anything. I dont even know where to start?

best bet i had to do was take out the switch and hook the switch up to each soliniod and try them one at a time then u will know if it is the soliniod or the wireing between it

1st question, when testing it you have the car running correct?
That would allow the fuel psi to be up. I have tested mine where just turning the key to position 2 was not enough to meet the needs of the fpss.

Pulling the nozzle off is the correct way to test it.

2nd thing you need to make sure that the solenoids are getting power. I'm not an electrical person but can you hook up power to the solenoid power wire and ground it and see if it clicks?

3rd thing, fuses? Did you have any installed in the wiring as a precaution?

4th thing, switches, could they be bad?

Try those first and get back to us

Check fuses, my NX kit has 2 wired in I think.
