how do the ls1 with 450+ hp use et streets and not have problems but you have to jump to an et drag?

On the 100 shot I have pulled a 1.630
My car all low end, ls1's are top end cars
My buddies who have mid 11 second cars typically run low 1.7's

It isnt the power that determains the tires it is how hard u are snaping those tires on a launch. I could pull 1.7 60s on drag radials all the time but whrn i went to a 100 shot i had to go to ET streets and i have probs hooking as well.
