  • Could I buy an ls1 kit and modify o use it after som new parts?

I got this guy that has a NOS ls1 kit he only wants like 200 bucks for it, comes with everything including a window switch. What would entail a transfer from ls1 to v6?

The LS1 NOS kit will have everything you need to set it up on your V6. The only difference between the kits are the number of jets I believe. Im guessing you could use both and make a dual stage set-up...

maybe someone else could tell you more.

Actually I think there is something different with the LS1 kit, something to do with the vacuume. It still might work though. If your not going to hook up the vacuume then I don't think it'll matter. For 200 buy it anyways and part it out or sell it to someone with a LS-1. With that and selling the window switch you can have money left over for the bottle, or keep the switch and modify it. Can't loose for $200

Ok, it can be made to work. Even if it has two nozzles instead of one, it will work. The window switch...what brand? If it's MSD, sell it to an LS1 owner for $60 or so, and buy a Harlan window switch for $55, it works better and you don't have to send it off to be modified by MSD.

            Nitrous systems are all universal
Solenoids, braided lines, bottles, nozzles etc
            The only difference can be:
            jets
dry kits and vaccum set up for fuel

You may want to call NOS and ask them what would specifically be needed.
But, yes you can use this kit

When you say harder? do you mean how it hits?
                Wet kits hit harder

                    Oh difficulty in install?
Well, wet kit has a fuel solenoid and nitrous.
You do have to mess with raw fuel, so that can be difficult
Dry kit is quite easy, just wiring and vaccum

I talked to a guy from TNT and he sayed to hook it up hehe. So I guess no extra parts are needed for the dry kit after all. I wonder why then, the ls1 kit isnt on all these web pages selling in the v6 sections? oh well. Ill be getting it on the 21st. New track times soon =)

When you get it lay it out all on the floor and take a pic so we can see pics of all the parts.
That way we can tell you want you need or don't need
LS1 kits might get the 15 lb bottle, piggy back fuel pump, bigger jets etc
