$3.50 to $5.00 a pound. The high dollar places tend to charge for a full ten pounds, even if you already have two in the bottle...\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next
v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock
v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp
Moderator on www.mtfba.org and www.frrax.com (Road Race & Autocross)
Car pics, TN Region SCCA

Well, a search would have answered it but that is ok
I have paid anywhere from $2 to $5 per pound
Track's are usualy the most expensive.
Ask your place if they use a cryopump or just freeze the bottle the night beforeRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

Now, I'm not an expert on the juice by any means, but if the tank is filled by weight, then you are going to get charged for 10 pounds in a 10 pound tank *every* time. Or atleast you should be.
I played paintball for 4 years, and its the same deal when filling CO2 tanks. If the tank is filled by weight, then you MUST empty the tank all the way before you fill. You then put the empty tank on the hanging scale, and fill until it reads 10 pounds more.
If these tanks aren't filled by weight, then ignore me 1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap

They are filled by weight, but they do not have to be empty to fill them! Shops use a cool pump to fill them, which just pressurizes one side of the line, and the gas (as it is in the braided lines) goes to the lower pressure side (your bottle). Even if it's half way full, they can fill it, top it off, or whatever.www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

Whats the benefiet of a cryopump? I think the place I use down here just freezes the bottle1998 Red RS 3.8l A4
Whisper - K&N - N20 - 1LE Panhard - Ghetto STB - 255/50ZR16 Ecsta
Removed grille - Limo tint - blackouts - A-pillar cf a/f ratio
Panasonic DF88 - 1 12\" Eclipse 88120.4 - Eclipse 3322 amp
http://members.cardomain.com/raven_rs

Exactly what he said
As for benifits of cryopump:
This will make sure you get a consistent 10 pounds in the bottle irregardless of outside temp and humidity.
When they freeze the bottle if it is humd or cool outside then it is difficult to get a completely full bottle.
I have come across times where my shop could only get 6-7 pound of nitrous in a 10 pound bottle due to outside weather.
With a cryopump this is not a problem cause it will just pump all 10 pounds in there Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
