• WooHoo! Whata steal!

I have been pondering the issue of buying a polished NOS bottle. I think they look cool and my blue bottle looks out of place in my red car (with no other blue anywhere). I have the bottle mounted between the rear seats.

I was just about to order one from Jeg's for $303 plus handling, when I decided to call my NOS refill staion to see if they could get it any cheaper. A mom and pop type of store.

They put me on hold and called their supplier. The girl got back on the phone and said $225 including s&h! I said give it to me!

Ended up that the supplier gave her the wrong price, so she made them give it to me at that price because they have gotten a lot of misquotes on parts lately! WOOHOO!

So I pretty much stole a polished NOS bottle!

BTW, does anyone know the jetting for a 100 dry shot NOS setup?

I will! I have red neons under the dash and thought about putting a small one under the bottle. I think it will look cool and help the bottle grab some attention.

Also, have you seen the bottle brackets from Edelbrock? They are so nice! They are metal and powdercoated red with a nice rubber lining so that they don't scratch the bottle. Only $40, so I bought a set of those as well.

I have examined both the Edelbrock and the NOS quick release brackets and you actually get a better bracket through Edelbrock for about $70 less.

I think that will look really cool!
