• Hey does anyone know if nitrous is legal in cali

Hey guys I know this question is stupid but is it legal here, I mean I've seen plenty of people with nitrous&there have been plenty of articles on polution controlled cars here in cali with nitrous but if I got pulled over for it&I had the nitrous bottle where I can open it by hand you know behind the seat mounted on the tranny tunnel, could the cop give me a ticket for it? Thanks for any help on this issue&any advice is appreciated ;)

Hey man, I am being serious, not mean or anything, but if you want more answers to your questions, and more serious answers, you have to write something that is easy to read.
Some Tips:
-Use the spacebar before and after every "&" you use. Use them sparingly.
-Use more punctuation.
-Try not to be longwinded.
Then people won't avoid your posts etc...
As far as legal... I believe it is legal in all states now, well to have on a car. You can have it hooked up or in use on the street. I also have heard you can't have it in reach of the drivers seat in some states... dunno...
Contact SEMA if you need any info about legalities...

It's legal to have it hooked up but not turned on. The bottle can't be within reach and a remote bottle opener doesn't count, the bottle must be turned off. Once you are at the track your safe.

thanks for the help guys. I figured it might be legal as long as you didn't drive around with it armed all the time. sorry if my posts look like a big jumble of words :D I'm one of those people that gets an idea, has something to say so I say it all as fast as I can so I don't leave anything out

Eh, remote bottle opener causes too many problems.
Not opening fully, leaking, not closing fully and so on.
