No it wasn't, that was bone stock. With the 100 shot I ran a 14.17@99.56 with a horrible 2.28 60ft. I still have the stupid open differential but after I install my lsd rearend my et's should fall well into the 13's with just the few mods that I have. Oh yeah I have the 3.8l. If you do the 100 shot just be sure your A/F is ok first. I'm getting mine dynoed at the end of the month and I'm going to have them hook the A/F gauge up to make sure I'm not running lean.

aalugo2000 i noticed you have an auto. do you 1sweet6? someone posted something earlier about the zex kit not working well with autos cause it sprays through the shift? is this true? is there anything that can be done to fix this?
Also, all you guys running zex saying it works fine, who is spraying before the maf and whos spraying after?
I'm still definitely considering this kit.

Again, I'm not a fan of it.
I'm not seeing impressive 1/4 times.
My 85 dry shot knocked 1.5 seconds off on my nos kit
My 75 wet shot knocked 1.5+ seconds off on my tnt kit
In my opinion NOS and TNT (even NX but I have no experience with it) have more notoriety and research.
I am always looking to learn more so please don't think I hate this kit, I just prefer some others that seem to work betterRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

hey jon,
ive never been to a track but i do have a g-tech (take it for what its worth) and i run about 14.4-14.6 on that (i was runnin about 15.2-15.5 before the zex), but that was before i put in the new servos in the tranny, so i may have gained a 10th from that. and one of my oxygen sensors is screwed up right now, so i have to get that fixed before i do anything else, im pretty sure im gettin the supersix package in the spring, and maybe the forged pistons with that.
and my car is an auto, i havent really had any problems with the trans, i did have a cooler installed when i put in the new servos though.later,
alan
1999 bright red v6
3800 series III
208\\210 comp cam
3000 stall edge tc

I am running NX wet kit too. Wet kits leave more margin for error in respect to running too lean. The main problem with wet kits is that our cars don't like gasoline in the intake manifolds. Just watch out for backfire...caused by "fuel puddling"
Say your nozzle is angled toward the wall of the throttle body, the fuel when sprayed would sort-of cling to the wall and can ignite, causing backfire. Backfire can melt the plastic intakes, burn up air filter, knock out MAF sensor, blow off your lid, etc. Probably could catch the whole engine bay on fire...?
BTW:
quote:
how many people who's car's are bottle fed use Zex?

That has to be about the worst english ever used in a single phrase. It has incorrect apostrophes, passive voice, and an incorrect form of 'whose'. Not picking on you, I don't care one bit but I'm an english major and seeing that topic in the nitrous forum so badly written has made me pull out my hair for awhile now.7\"TV, DVD player, WW ground effects
2800 stall, aluminum DS, NX wet kit
15.39 (G-tech) stock w/3.42 LSD

12sec..
i know the g-tech isnt a real track time, thats why i said "take it for what its worth" just wanted to try and give some feedback, figured that was better that tellin someone who was inquiring about zex "i dont know", but i plan to get to a track this spring after i get some work dont on my car, the problem is that the nearest track to me is like 45 mins away, and id rather hang with my friends and race than go to the track, but my car should be pretty fast after the supersix pack, so ill definately need some solid #'s to back up that claim.later,
alan
1999 bright red v6
3800 series III
208\\210 comp cam
3000 stall edge tc

Ok, at least you do know that.
There are some that feel that G tech times are real.
