  • Just installed my window switch

Well as the title says I installed my harlan window switch. I tried using the info OneQuickV6 had posted about pin 54, however i guess that's for the 2000 cars.

I used pin E off the coil packs to get my tach signal this is a white wire.

I have my wiring done up so that my master arm switch provides power to the window switch which provides the ground for a relay which sends power to the WOT switch.

It works very well turns on right at 2600 and shuts off again at 5500.

I drew a little wiring diagram as well

I too could not open the link to your diagram, I would really like to see how it is wired, if you could get a link up that works that would be great. Thanks. Also were do you get the relay that is needed for this setup?

Yea, the pins could easily be different on different year models. 2600 RPM seems kind of low though to me. I have never heard of anybody running their lower window at less than 3000! Oh, and nbm01 you can get a plain old relay needed for any of this kind of stuff at Advance or Autozone, less than 10 bucks. Or Best bUy, Circuit City, or your local stereo shop has them.

Ok that all looks good, I checked out your nitrous install cuz I'm doing mine right now. The only thing I see is that the nozzle is spraying before the MAF sensor and this is a wet kit. I thought that was like a big no-no. I looked it up in the install directions at www.nitrousexpress.com and there for wet kit installation they say to drill the nozzle into the plastic air intake elbow before the MAF sensor. I dunno now...???

For a wet kit, NEVER put the nozzle BEFORE the MAF.

Yup NX instructions call for it to be in front of the MAF. I haven't had any problems and been spraying for years

Trust me, wet kits after the Maf, dry kits before.

I have always heard after the MAF too for wet kits, but NX's instructions and MotorHead say before...I would be worried about fuel puddling before the manifold leading to backfire. Do you have any pics of the best place to drill and tap a nozzle into James or does Magnus have those pics? I'm taking my TB to a local machine shop...only part of the install I'm not doing myself.
