I just bought my nitrous kit from a guy at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. He has a 1998 Prelude...my stepdad was also stationed there a few years ago.

James: How do you get a permit to transport nitrous oxide? Are you in the service too? I'm not.

Up here they do random vehical searches to make sure you ain't bringing a bomb on base. If they have that where he is at that would explain it.

Every now and then to test the guys searching they will bring a car threw with fakes explosives in it to see if they will find it. I've known a couple guys that failed that test.

ask them for the AFI #, the reg should tell you the resctrictions and allowances for it.
Maybe you just need to drive around base w/plackards on
