  • NOS 5177? Will it work?

NOS 5177 Dry Kit for LS1-all original kit parts, NOS purge kit, NOS bottle heater, NOS progressive controller, Mallory window switch with plug in modules, extra flare jets(34 & 38), bottle brackets for spare tire area, Autometer nitrous pressure gauge with hardware for hookup, all used only 2 months last season, $1300 invested will sell for $650

Some guy is selling this on another site that I gotto. Well I was wondering since IT IS SUCH A GREAT DEAL if it will work on my 3.8?

    Anything will work, with modification.
You would have to get a blue fitting and vaccum set up. NOS tech line could assist you with exact part numbers

My experience with used nitrous systems: one of the local v6er's in jersey bought a used kit. It was working fine on a previous car.
Once it was installed in his car he ended up replacing 2 out of 3 solenoids, switches and a portion of the braided line.

I'm not a fan of used kits.

Everything in my setup is used, all works fine.

It is probably not the best idea, but for the price, it was worth the risk to me and it really payed off.
