    Ach!!!! Nooooo
I saw a vette guy doijng this. He would have the car at idle in the staging lanes in neutral and hit the nitrous activation button to 'purge' the lines.
You MUST be at WOT ONLY to spray nitrous into your engine. Anything less and the fuel psi will not be high enough.

Bottle warmer is honestly needed for cooler temps and to raise the bottle psi to the optimal level.

Bottle purge is not needed but it looks cool and consistency can be maintained easier. Also the nitrous will hit quicker

You can do what i did untill i got my purge. While im doing my burnout i hit the switch ntill i can fell the nitrous kick in. Then while coasting to the line i rev to make sure i clear the excess fuel in the intakes. I have a purge now but thats what i use to do

Are you WOT in your burnout?
        Probably not.
Honestly I wouldn't do ths either.
Free spinning and juicing and shifting can be a bad combo in a burnout

          12sec...
i guess i was a little confusing on the purge thing... i usually race on the streets (late at light on side streets) so what i meant was that i usually just activate the system then hit full throttle on my way TO the race spot. which from what ive read would be just as good as a purge, so i will probably not get that and just get the warmer.

but you do like the slp rocker upgrade? from my knowledge, dosent the rocker upgrade give you somewhat of a fraction of what a cam gives you, just on a little lesser, maybe safer scale?

basically what im gettin at with this post is trying to figure out what im gonna buy, since ive been back and forth on the mods i want over the winter, so i wanna get it all orderded and installed in one shot. so 12sec, pgriffith, malloy, and all others who have posted, do you think that a torque converter, suspension package, headers, bottle heater, fuel pump, and maybe roller rockers are a really good combonation of mods to get my 70k mile/daily driver into the mid 13's??

the thing i particularly like about that combo is that its covering alot of areas; drivetrain, suspension, fuel, nos, exhaust, and internal engine, so it should be a big help.

I honestly think a cam is well worth it IF you get the right one for your car, look at camaro zach he dropped .5 with a cam, to me that is impressive, i mean imo its more impressive than hitting a 100 shot and runnning 12s, i think its far more impressive running 13s all motor, no offense james. I am not saying anything in a smarta**** way.

I know you are not being a smart @ss, and I like you now. I gave you sh*t a while back and you held your own.

Like you said, IF the cam is right for your car.

              I wouldn't mind hitting 13's n/a. I doubt I can do it, but I think I'll come really close, (14.1?
              perfect conditions)

aalugo2000: Your method of purge isn't the best way. That would just clear the line for that particular instance. As soon as heat builds up then it evaporates (liquid nitrous to a gaseous state)

As for the rockers, I am waiting for them to arrive. Once they are installed I'll post results
