  • Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge...

I figured I would ask you guys in the nitrous forum, because nitrous is why I need the gauge, my question is: How fast does the gauge work? I mean is their any delay from the time you run lean, and the time it actually shows lean on the gauge? Or is it right on time? I was wanting to use one to tune my 85 and 100 shot and I want to know if it will show up rich or lean right as I spray?....
    Thanks

it's damn near close 2 instant. Get wideband O2 sensors when u get the gauge for more precise A/F readings.

If "tuning to the edge" is what your looking at doing then get a pyrometer, youll know exactly what the temperature is and if you can go more or not. With the air/fuel guage it's to late if you see go way lean, but if your interested in buying i've had mine for about 2 months now shoot me a price if your interested.

And Air/Fuel Gauge? What brand, etc. Pics?

Thanks for the replies, I will get the wideband o2 sensor too.. Does it install in the o2 sensor right before the cat or after?

Best thing is hit a dyno and wide band it.
I run an autometer air/ fuel ratio guage.
Click on the link in the sig for pic's
Get the autometer install kit which comes with a weld in bung and extra o2 sensor. I originally spliced into the stock o2 sensor and eventually started getting ses codes for low voltage to o2 sensor

                I don't know yet.
                I've been looking into pyrometer's.
I'd like to run 1 per bank of cylinder's.
Sure one per cylinder (or exhaust port) is the best but we have to be practical right?

Once I know and have tried it I'll post results
