• what is safe and what is not

i want to put nitrous on my car along with my tci 3200 stall. my question is i want to drop my current time wich is 16.2 w/o the converter to about a 15.2 would a 50 shot work or would i need to go bigger?? i want to do this safe but the same time turn some heads with my v6 any input is welcome.

You should get your times into the mid 15's before you play with nitrous.

why /\ /\ /\

he might not see gains from the nitrous like someone with mods would but it's perfectly fine. i don't think fifty will be a big enough shot to get you a full second but it should be close.

I got 1.4 seconds on an 85 dry shot. (15.7 to 14.3)

Still trying to figure out what I will get on the 120 shot.

Cody, I'd see what you can run NA with the verter first...Just so you know where you stand before the juice. And naptown, there are alot of v6 cars here that never hit 15's because of elevation, why wait to run them before you spray? People can spray a complete stock car, no other mods. It won't hurt if they do it right...Sure they can see better gains by the other mods, but people do have nitrous as their one and only mod.

once again the elevation here really sucks if matt took his car to a lower elevation i bet he would run mid 14's. same for any of yall that came up here your cars would run alot slower.

If I can run 15.220 without nitrous on street rubber and a stock exhaust system, you can to. I would get those n/a times down and get more farmiliar with the car before I even tried with nitrous. Just my $0.02

I agree with the elavation thing. I just got my Nitrous Book and have been reading it everynight now for the last day or so and It says that you should work on driving skills before using nitrous. Thats what I am going to do. If you dont push your skills to the limit then nitrous or for that matter no power adder can help you if you still arent double clutching  anyways no power adder can help you that much if you still dont know how to drive your car. Our cars are capable of mid and even low 15's with weight reduction I thought someone even ran 14's stock?

I'm a fan of learning the true potential of your car first, then spray it.
Finish your intake and exhaust and add a converter.
Then spray it and you will be quite happy!

I'd be tempted to pay for your trip over here if you could run better than 15.7 at our track!

same here i live 30 min. from matt. i will pay for your hotel and hell i will throw in my car but i know how to drive. and its a automatic. the converter will help me out but not that much. you really need to understand the elevation in lubbock texas. IT SUCKS. and i do know how to drive i think matt could tell you that.

You think someone ran 14's stock yet you throw up the BS flag when i say i ran a 15.1 with only a muffler?

and i agree with james on this one, finish your intake and exhaust, maybe add a converter, then spray it

I thought that someone ran that by removing damn near all the insides. That is what I was told by people on here. I think some girl did it. Well I now know that I shouldnt have thrown a flag all in your face. I appologize for your inconvenience.
