• 50 shot results!

Well, I went to the track yesterday. I am very impressed! I knocked .9 off of my best N/A time of 15.63, and that was done in cooler weather. Don't know how much was nitrous and how much was converter, but the converter hasn't helped me out yet. It was 81 degrees yesterday.
RT .6223
60 FT 2.1530
330 FT 6.922
1/8 9.4463
MPH 72.82
1/4 14.7463
MPH 93.49

Slowest Nitrous run was 15.0539. Ran it N/A once. Screw that! Oh, out of 4 runs I cut R/Ts in the 50's. They were .5464 and .5955. It was a good day!

I know that it isn't supposed to make a difference, but since I haven't had my MSD DIS-4, my N/A ET's have increased by .3, consistently. Can't wait to get it back.

(Edit: Few hours later.)

Forgot to mention. My one and only N/A run for the night was 15.9722 @ 85.47 with a 2.25 60ft, so the Nitrous run was 1.2259 better. Damn! A 50 shot. Man, that's wild.

Man thats OUTSTANDING!!!! I had no idea a 50 shot of nos could drop you over a second. Honestly I didnt even think a 75 shot would give you 1.2 seconds. DDDAAAMMM!!! Hmmm after the SSM pack a 50 shot may be in my feature thanks to your demonstration.

Thanks, guys! I'm not a "Nitrous Purist" yet, so the whole thing is pretty amazing to me!

85 shot coming as soon as I get my MSD box back!

We WILL convert you!!! :D

Congrat's on the runs!!!

Small shots on slow cars make them go VERY quick.
As you get faster it takes more and more nitrous to go .1 quicker :(

85 hp shot will make you go :D

Other than the nitrous, how'd the converter work? Did you "learn" how to use it yet? 2.1 60fts don't really prove much on the converter aspect. Try running without the nitrous to see what it'll pull with that converter only.

That car has more to it i went from 14.8 NA to a 13.7 with a 50 shot but thats with a great 1.76 60 foot. All about the traction

P.S. You were probably at Temple Tack whice is the worst track ever. Only tack ive been to with pot holes. I almost put my car into the way on a NA launch 2.0 60 foot. Thats horrible. Come Down to houston and run at HRP with me.

I'm doing my best not to think of my car as slow despite the overwhelming evidence. It's been very dependable though. I'm keeping the faith! :D

Nope, hadn't learned the converter yet. The .2 reduction in the 60 ft is typical of a high stall converter though. I do have a strange feeling that to properly use this converter at the track that I use, it;s gonna lead to more suspension mods and better tires. Maybe a controller for the Nitrous if I ever flash the dang thing. You know, you do one mod, have to do two others to support it. :D Either way, I bought it, I'll learn it. It's not coming out.

Yeah, I think there is more to it also. I will make the trip down to Houston soon.

You know, you Houston guys are actually alright. Just gotta know how to listen to ya'll. Thanks for the support! :D

Thanks everybody! Tiago, John_D and 98GREENGLOW included. :D
