Hey, what's the scoop on the bap? (maybe you already answered it in the drag racing post, I haven't been over there yet...) I got mine wired up tonight finally. Only had it nearly a year... Is it going to be a bad thing or what? Why did you unhook yours?
BAP seems to work VERY well with the stock fuel pump.
As for aftermarket pump, it didn't like it at all.
Right now my BAP is dissconnected (the red wires that are spliced into the positive wire of the fuel pump) but the negatives (aka grounds) and my adjustable knob are still in the car.

One of the guys in my local f-body club is just about to put a bap on a walbro 340. (V8 car) What sort of problem is he going to see with that?
I'm wanting to give him a heads up... Especially since he's wanting to check mine out and everything. (and he's letting me use his ET streets Saturday night) :D
With the boost a pump and my granatelli I experienced a misfire code (cylinder #6) at high rpm's (end of the 1/4) when spraying.
I checked the plugs and they were fine.
I dissconnected my boost a pump completely and just ran the granatelli and had NO misfire codes at high rpm's (end of the 1/4) when spraying.
I think the boost a pump's ability to increase voltage and the bigger fuel pump seem to cause things to work against each other.
So far, what I'm learning is the boost a pump works GREAT with a STOCK fuel pump
With an aftermarket pump (granatelli 255 lph) the boost a pump caused a misfire.
I would suggest for you to keep it in there w/ your stock fuel pump.
As for your buddy's car w/ the bigger pump I would suggest not using the boost a pump.
This is my experience w/ my car, his might be different. Just give him the heads up

Thanks for the info james.. I am heading to jersey today and will be there all weekend.. The bottle has been back on for 2 days and everything is working great..
