ok guys..
im getting a new catco cat and o2 sims, and im installing the cia headers at the same time. but i also want an air/fuel gauge, will it sork with the sims? or does it need real o2 sensors to get the readings??

You can do that (splice into the pruple wire).
I did it and shortly after I experienced a low voltage check engine code from this.
I called summit racing
I ordered an Autometer air/fuel ratio guage install.
This consists of a weld in O2 sensor bung, extra O2 sensor w/ wiring harness and a bit more wiring.
Very good thing to have, I'm happy w/ mine

He's right, but you would get a more accurate reading if you tapped into the O2 sensor right before the cat. If you tap into the one on the headers, you'r only getting the reading from one of the banks and not both of them.
