• Question about plugs

Hey guys I have a NX wet kit gonna run a 100 shot, but my funds are a little low right now, but I do know that I will need to get new plugs and wires. The question is can I run the tr6's gaped at ( i believe ) 0.032 or whatever is optimum, without nitrous runnin through yet?
I want to go ahead and get those in so when I finish the set-up I wont have to go ahead and do those at the same time?
Will it hurt anything?
I got stuff...<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://community.webshots.com/user/mksucum\" target=\"_blank\">http://community.webshots.com/user/mksucum</a>

Why would it hurt anything? They are just colder plugs. You will put a hell of a lot more miles on them n/a than you will with nitrous anyway.

Everyone says to gap them at .035

I drove around on mine for about a week before I got everything hooked up so I could spray.

It won't hurt anything. Even when you start spraying, it will only be a small percentage of the time you're running the car anyway.

Well, some people say your na performance falls off a little, and mileage may fall off a little. I'm not sure how much.... Not enough for me to switch plugs back and forth.

So, you have stock plugs in there now?
Don't change them.
When you install the nitrous do the plugs.
Colder plugs can hurt gas mileage and performance. They slow the burn process.
I run around w/ the ngk tr6's gapped at 0.035 back and forth to vermont and the track and everywhere.
Will it damage anything, no.
Could it hurt perf and fuel economy slightly, yes
