Ok I'll see what I can reply with!
On an auto it is just fine to spray through shifts.
The smell was probably the engine being cleaned out because nitrous does this pretty well.
the noise I have no idea you'll have to be more specific on that, is it ONLY when you are spraying or is it all the time since the install and where is it coming from/what does it sound like?
Lastly the spare tire compartment or on the hump/where the hump is are other popular mounting locations. IF you remove the back seats you can mount it on the floor!

For bottle mounting, check out the pictures in the link "My Car" in my sig.
The noise, hmmm, don't know about that. Like Nachius said, is it all the time or what?
Bottle psi, I only hold about 700 with no heater, which is too low. I hold 850 with the heater.\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next
v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock
v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp
Moderator on www.mtfba.org and www.frrax.com (Road Race & Autocross)
Car pics, TN Region SCCA

well it has been ever since the install but we didnt get a chance to spray it yet because it rained in the town where i got it installed. its kinda like a clanking noise. like i said didnt do it before the shop installed the kit i am figuring it might be the intake since they drilled into it. see when i bought the kit it was for imports with fuel return system so they had to "modify" it its a dry kit but he tapped it into the intake is this ok. also if i get a bottle heater will it make the n2o hit harder.

Cody, call robert and make sure how he hooked it up. If it's dry, do not spray it! If the black line that goes towards the abck on the engine bay is or fuel, it's all good (wet kit). Bottle pressure is key in any good run!If you just kind of warm it, you'll get a good run or two, get it warm ALL THE WAY through the bottle, and it'll last.www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

900-1050psi is where you want to be. Nitrous will flow at 800psi. Shouldn't have any problem getting that psi right now in this heat. I soak mine in the hottest water I can draw up for about an hour or so Cody...by the time I get to the track, it's usually about 1000psi, and it usually holds pretty steady there until the bottle runs low.www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

Spray through shifts in an auto is fine
Modify.... import kit.... care to explain?
As for the warm water bathe... that works in the summer, but not winter (jersey winter's at least)
Cranking, you need to pin point the location of it
