• Question about bottle, nitrous express

I picked up a 15lb nitrous express bottle.

I already have the 10lb NOS bottle, and it had directions... Label facing up, bottle at 15 degree angle.

Is the nitrous express bottle the same? Label up? If so, then the blowdown tube outlet is facing up too... Which means I need to get a u-shaped blowdown tube and can't use my L-shaped one?

Otherwise, looks like all the fittings are the same.

Yes the nitrous express blow down tubes are U shaped so I would guess thats how it would need to sit!

Hey, I've never heard of the directions indicating to face the bottle "label up"...

Not saying it's not true, but could you explain as to why this is?

Thanks.

There is basically a syphon tube inside the bottle that is supposed to be oriented a certain way. As in like mentioned above with normal NOS bottles the label up and the brackets are made at an angle to mount the bottle correctly.

go to http://mail.horizonview.net/~nacho/nos.pdf and check page 8!

There is a syphon tube in all nitrous bottles.
High PSI inside the bottle keeps the nitrous in a liquid form.
To gain the most out of a nitrous system they mount the bottle on a 15 degree angle along with a syphon tube that is bent so that the bottom of the tube is aimed directly towards the deepest part of the bottle

I could not get the link to work..... but I'm with Nachius on the bent blow down tube set up, thanks for the info
