  • ISSUES, step inside

Alright, lately my nitrous has not seemed to be consistent. The last time I went to the track, I sprayed to a 14.5. I thought I would be around a 14.1.

Well, my problem is that it doesn't seem to be engaging at all, but I here the solenoids open and such. So, it could be the nitrous filter, I think I am going to change that.

I took the nozzle out and held it away from me and tested it and all that seemed to spray is air, very little or no nitrous. I have never had this problem last season. I also switched to a polished bottle and I wonder if that has anything to do w/ my problems, like it doesn't hold in heat as well as a painted one, causing more air build up.

Well, I need any insight at all, like:

Has anyone ever had a solenoid go bad (an NOS one)?

How often do you change your nitrous filter?

    Anything else that could help??

I am getting really frustrated at this point. I have had a run of bad luck at the track recently, so help me out f-bod brothers.

bypass the filter and see if that works.

what position is the bottle in?
Label is up right and its angled valve up bottom of bottle down at what a 15* slant?
because if the bottle isn't where the syphon tube is down you will have problems.

My bottle angle shouldn't be a problem. Like I said, it ran great last season. I could get at least seven GOOD runs out of it.

That is why I think it has to be the filter or a solenoid.

Basically, I have a kit that ran great for about 6-7 bottles, all of a sudden it is starting to have problems.

I really think it has something to do w/ that polished bottle. I am going to use the blue one and change that filter next time and see what that does for me.

I wonder if that syphon tube in the polished bottle somehow got turned around or something.

Plus, the refill station was having problems with their filling machine, so I am going to go somewhere else to get it filled. I think that is also a factor.

        Huh, so many variables.

          Maybe solenoid locking up?

            How would I know? Symptoms?

What are reasons a solenoid would lock up? I.E. Water build up inside the soleoid, etc.??

It doesn't seem like they are as loud when they open up as they used to be, but I thought that might be because of lack of flow due to a dirty filter (I hope).
