• Powershot rebuild kits

I just ordered two, one for each solenoid.

I also ordered a new filter, even though they are supposed to be reusable, but I don't want to take any chances on my kit not performing again.

They should be here no later than tomorrow.

I just wondered if anyone has rebuilt their solenoids. I have never heard anyone mention that they have before.

Oh yeah, wish me luck and happy spraying! God I hope this fixes the problem. :fingerscrossed:

I sent my TNT solenoids to TNT.
They rebuilt them, flow tested them and sent them back to me for..... I think $40?

The price was not epensive.
I could have gone the route you went but the added benifit of flow testing was the selling point for me

I appreciate the reply.

I rebuilt them about 10 days ago, I don't think they really needed it, though. But, I wasn't taking any chances.

The problem was DEFINITELY my filter. That sucker was completely clogged up. WOW, did it spray after that!!!!!

I sprayed and spun to a 14.3. I know I got more in it if I can launch better. The track was a greaseball b/c it was VERY busy. There was nearly a two hour wait to stage.

It was very hot the day I tried out my kit after the rebuild. The car had been sitting in like 90* weather w/ the windows up. It was an oven. When I turned on the bottle, PSI was at ~1125.

It hit so hard!!!!

I think that a bottle heater is gonna be a good investment! Really I don't think I want to spray w/o one!!!
