Free ram air mod?
Got pic's of those headers installed?
Go with an in tank pump instead of a piggy back style

im running the ngk tr-6 plugs, and taylor pro wires.
and 12sec.. i dont have pics, but take a peek at my post in exhaust(its guardianknights thread, ordered cia headers or something?)
oh and i was thinkin about the walbro pump, but dont you have to drop the tank to install the in-tank pump? im really not about payin $200 in labor, plus i hear from a few people that the intank isnt really necessary, and the inline will be fine, as well as easier and cheaper.
and what about retarding timing? its somethink i know nothing about really? so i need to look into it??later,
alan
1999 bright red v6
3800 series III
208\\210 comp cam
3000 stall edge tc

walbro or granatelli 255 lph in tank pump only.
If you get the inline piggy back style the fuel still has to go through your stock fuel pump.
I really think that an in tank should be done over a piggy back style
I run a 100 shot and stock timing.
I do run NGKTR6's which are 2 ranges colder
I try and run a minimum of 93, if it is slightly warm then I'll have 94
If it is REALLY hot then I'll head off to get 100 octane just to be safe

hey 12sec...
on that intank pump, do you have to drop the tank to install it? or can you get it through the back seat? how many hours u think it would take?
and also, you say your running stock timing? i heard you should retard like 2degrees or whatever for every 100hp of spray, obviously you've been spraying for awhile now, so why didnt you do this?later,
alan
1999 bright red v6
3800 series III
208\\210 comp cam
3000 stall edge tc

The fuel pump can be changed without dropping the tank...a friend of mine did it to his SS and we will be doing it to mine shortly. I will try to find a website that shows each step, and has good pictures. That's where he learned how to do it.www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

Yep, that's basically it.www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

You can cut the metal above the tank.... but not reccomended.
You can partially lower the tank and switch pumps
As for timing..... I run 2 ranges colder plugs and high octane gas.
If it is really hot out 100 octane.
I like to have 94, 93 will do.
I haven't experienced any issue's yet.
Higher levels like a 125+ shot will require 100 octane, plugs that are 2+ ranges colder and 1-2 degree's of timing yankedRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
