its all i have left to hook up b4 i can start sparyin, n e one have n e idea where its located? i heard it was purple, so i looked all over my throttle body for it, but had no look. mayb a verification that its purple and an exact location of it would help?

location of tps wire (zex)

The tps sensor is on the passenger side of the tb. It's alongside the center shaft of the throttle plate (if you can see the plate inside the tb with the front tubing off). What year do you have? The wiring is slightly different on the 99+ and the 98-. The 98- have a 3-wire plug going directly to the tps sensor. That part I don't know. Do you have a Haynes or Chilton manual, or can look at one? The wiring diagrams in the back will probably give you a good idea. That may only be a 2-wire. I'm going by memory here... (not a good idea)
I'm thinking one wire would be +12V, the other would be the output coming off the resistor. There might be a ground wire, but I'm thinking probably not.
If you have a voltmeter, you can check which wire is 12V and which one is between 0 and 5V, with the key on and the engine off, opening and closing the throttle. alright, so i think i found a voltage checker. i grounded it, and stabbed the three wires. the black one did nothing. the blue one lit up a little, and the white one lit up the most. so i'm guessing i want blue? that would kind of make sense since blue is close to purple and i'm color blind and heard that i want the purple wire. any thoughts?

That sounds right. Black is typically the color used for ground. And white is used a lot of times for power. So that leaves blue. (plus that's the one you got the correct reading on too...)
