I traced my problem back to a fuel pump that was not holding preasure. I bought the Granatelli f-body intank fuel pump(could not find a Walbro, even though i think walbro supplies everyone a pump and then they put their name on it like Holley). Anyone hear any good or bad things about the Granatelli pump, i think it is a walbro.
I've been running the Accel injectors for a year now. No problems.
James (12sec) ran bigger Accel injectors and had problems.
Magnus ran Accels too.
On a local f-body board I'm on, the rumor is that Accels are prone to lock on top end, and that SVO injectors are preferred. I haven't had any locking problems that I know of.
If you're running a dry kit, the stock size injectors should be ok to 100hp, maybe 120hp. Beyond that, you could need bigger injectors (or convert to a wet kit). Best way to tell is to monitor the pulse widths of the injectors.
Thanks for the help John_D, I think I will buy the Accel injectors. I am pretty sure I need the 22lb injectors, which are the factory size. If that is not right, could you please tell me, and if it is not a pain, could you give me the exact part number for the replacement injectors you used for accel, Thanks.
I use the Granatelli pump it is the walbro 255 pump.

James I just wonder if you have any concrete proof that the injectors caused the problem with your motor. I don't think so but, who knows...
