I was showing a buddy how my n2o kit works, so I turned on the first solenoid( fuel press. control) and left it on for about 5 minutes.
While I was going through everything with him, he pointed out that smoke was pouring out from my hood.
I shut everything off and inspected the system. the solenoid was very hot and after it cooled, it would no longer operate.
What are your thoughts on this? Should I look for a rebuild kit for the solenoid or just get a new one? Has this ever happened to anyone before?
I think it overheated because i didn't have any super cold n2o streaming through it. Moral of the story: don't be like me kids. I feel like tim taylor, I show what not to do.
