• Stock 3.8 With ZEX

    Hello all,

I have a completely stock 1996 Camaro, 3.8, automatic. I know a guy who is selling his unused ZEX Nitrous Kit for a damn good buy. I am planning to mod the everliving hell out of my car, but I am curious about Nitrous, becasue I hear good, and I hear bad. This kit comes with 55, 75, & 125 shot nozzles, will any of these be safe for my car without hurting it. I cant afford to put a new engine in, Sorry for my rambling, but if you have any info, could you please help me out!

    Thanks in advance

Well since its wet 55/75 are safe. You might need tuning to run more.

With cold plugs, I persoanlly think a bone stock L36 can handle a 100 wet shot just fine if installed right.

If you don't have the money to fix stuff, I would suggest leaving your car stock :D

Actually I knew a guy that worked for pontiac, he owned a 2000 v6 auto. He actually convinced the dealership that it was safe to run a 125shot on his car without voiding his drivetrain warranty. His car also never had any problems but he only had it for about 10k miles. (I told him BS when I heard this but I'm just relaying info)
